On 07/01/2020, the Project was launched. M.O.S.A.I.C.O. – Open Source Methodologies for Industrial Automation and Computational Procedures in Astrophysics – involving a partnership of two Enterprises and a Research Organization that responded to the Call for Proposals “Intelligent Factory” Axis I Action 1.1.3. – co-funded with ERDF Funds from the National Operational Program “Enterprise and Competitiveness” 2014-2020 having as its object a Research and Development activity aimed at the realization of a set of open-source tools and automatic equipment for the improvement of manufacturing processes and verification of large telescope structures, to be subsequently validated in real environment.
Beneficiary subjects are: S.R.S. Engineering Design srl, Lead Tech srl and the National Institute of Astrophysics of Catania.
